To some, we may be "staff." To us, we're family. We can't help but be, given the experiences we've lived together, challenges we've rallied for, close quarters we've worked in, and common passion we share for building meaningful relationships.
We love serving together, and we love including others in the adventure: volunteer leaders and teams, people pursuing community and growth in small groups, others simply curious about God or church. Regardless of individual titles, our shared job description is attract people to Christ and build His body of believers. In a nutshell, it's not about us. It's about showing His love through us.

Jill Armstrong Accountant jilla@gbcommunitychurch.com Jill started as GBCC's accountant-extraordinaire in February of this year. Prior to that, she was a happy-at-home mom to Maggie, and wife to Todd. Jill finds numbers and routine oddly soothing. She likes the color brown (easy girl, don't go too crazy), the TV show Lost, and the movie Back to the Future. Her least favorite part of her job is filing- so we'll have to make sure all that paper doesn't end up in the flux capacitor of her DeLorean.

Kim Sechler Area Pastor kims@gbcommunitychurch.com Kim and Beth have been married long enough to have three children. Kim, a native Texan, used to be a forester, but got tired of talking to insects, squirrels and trees. After a 27-year stint with Campus Crusade for Christ, Kim came to work at GBCC. Kim is such a nice guy that his all-time favorite TV show is Bonanza because he liked the way the brothers interacted with each other and their father. There is not a sarcastic bone in Kim's body and we like that. He balances the rest of us out!

Guy Gegare Building Services guyg@gbcommunitychurch.com Guy began working in Building Operations in October. OK, not quite true. He worked hard before that as a volunteer - brainstorming on and building an incredible VBS stage set. Guy is an extremely talented and creative man; he can fix anything, he can build anything, and he can lift your spirits with just his smile. His favorite expression is: WOO HOO! This father of two said he has not yet found a single part of his job that he doesn't like…wait till he has to vacuum all the pine needles after Christmas. WOO HOO!

Bobby Coverston Worship Pastor bobbyc@gbcommunitychurch.com Bobby Coverston, his wife Harper and their son, Joel, moved to Green Bay from California in early July so Bobby could begin his job at Community. "I get to shape and influence a culture and community towards glorifying God in all they do, and I get to play a lot of guitar!" said Bobby. As transplants from the west coast, he and Harper figure that our Wisconsin winters will be the worst part of living here. He obviously hasn't driven past the rendering plant yet.
