How did you come to Community?
Moved from southern California and looked for a church similar to the one we attended in California. We belonged to an Evangelical Free Church in CA. Visited two other churches in Green Bay and then made GBCC our church home. That was over 20 years ago.
What is your role at Community?
I oversee the Pastoral Care ministries (ie. benevolence, hospital visits, share and care (food), weddings, funerals, baby dedications, baptisms)
What is the best part about your role?
I have plenty of variety as well as the freedom to get out of the office and meet with people. The areas that I oversee are a good fit for me in relation to my strengths and abilities.

If you were a color, what color would you be? Why?
If I were a color? I never thought of myself as a color. Green sounds good to me. I was a forester and liked the outdoors being around green trees.
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years?
Digital hearing aids.
What is your favorite place on the earth?
The refrigerator.
What makes you laugh?
People who love to laugh.
What makes you cry?
All the sorrow and pain in this world.
