How did you come to Community?
Community was my home church as a teenager. When we moved back to the area we were attending another church where I was employed but our kids kept asking to go to Mimi and Papa’s church. The children’s ministry drew us here.
What is your role at Community?
I assist Bobby in the Arts Department
What is the best part about your role?
Sharing an office with Patti!
Fun Stuff
If you were a color, what color would you be? Why?
Orange – it isn’t as dominating as red but it still has something to say. And its happy.
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years?
I should say something like computer or internet or car – allowing us to be more global than ever in history but the shallow side of me says the TV is pretty cool.
What is your favorite place on the earth?
Somewhere hot and summery: A pool, my kids laughing and splashing and my husband next to me.
What makes you laugh?
My kids and Napoleon Dynamite.
What makes you cry?
Almost anything. Happy cry: baptisms (although that could be filed under ugly cry) or when my kids say something profound. Sad cry: watching the news, a sad movie, or worst – seeing my kids hurting.
If you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be?
American Idol – but as a judge..you know…cuz I’m old.
