  We are constantly hearing, “I attend the weekend services, but I want to go deeper in my relationships.” We want you to be more than a face in the crowd. We desire you to become known and make others known while you continue to grow in your relationship with God. In Belonging you will go deeper in your relationship with God and others by way of Community Groups, Membership and Wednesday Night Connect classes.

  Our hope is that you move beyond being a member, and become an "owner". Community Owners are passionate transformed people sharing the gospel by owning the call to be more than a consumer or follower, but an owner of Community church, the city in which we live, our nation and the world.

Student Ministries Volunteers

We C.A.R.E. for our volunteers!  This means we desire to Call you to a big Vision and role within the ministry, Assimilate you into the life our ministry, Retain you for as long as possible, and, if needed, Exit you with honor to another position or time of rest.  All adults working within Student Ministries will complete a background check and application as part of the assimilation process.

In student ministries, we work in the “critical window.”  Some studies suggest that as many as 90% of anyone who chooses Christ in their lifetime will make that choice in our age demographic.  The stakes couldn’t be much higher, and the calling can’t get more important or urgent.  Are there tasks to be done to make a ministry function?  Yes, of course. But we need people who are ready to roll up their sleeves to love young people for Christ, either directly in relationship, or indirectly through support.  If God is calling you to that vision, then let’s talk.  We will not be a “warm bodies” ministry – we desire people to discover God’s call in their life to serve the next generation with passion.
