We’re closing in on total elimination of GBCC’s construction-related debt and could be “Through in 2” years with your help! Financial freedom awaits, but it will take the commitment of many to retire this debt. Please consider joining the church family as we work together toward the goal that is within our reach.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the goal?
The goal is to eliminate 1.7 million in construction-related debt in 2 years.
Why is it important?
GBCC currently pays over $20,000 per month toward principal and interest. When we pay off the debt we can direct that toward ministries.
What is the length of the commitment?
One year: November 2007 – October 2008.
What if I’ve not completed my commitment to a previous campaign?
Pledge tracking for previous campaigns will be discontinued beginning November 2007, and we ask that you consider renewing your commitment to debt retirement by participating in “Through in 2.”
Will this campaign continue after October 2008?
If we’re not debt free, yes. We’ll continue the campaign for another year and ask for renewed one-year commitments.
Why are we using signed commitment cards?
Commitment cards help us determine the level of participation that can be expected in the debt retirement process.
How can I give my gift?
Gifts can be given through contribution envelopes, regular mail or E-Gift (automatic withdrawal from a bank account).
Will I receive a statement showing my pledge?
Yes, contribution statements will provide an overview of pledges and the amount given toward that pledge.
How much should I give?
The amount is not as important as following the Lord’s leading. We can’t all give the same amount, but we can all give sacrificially.
Am I able to revise my commitment if needed?
Yes. Contact Peter App as desired.
Whom do I contact if I need additional information?
Please contact Peter App, Operations Pastor, petea@gbcommunitychurch.com or 920.593.3478.
