1. Brochure Rack
Defined: There are three display racks used to hold GBCC ministry event registration forms and certain general church information.
Guidelines:
- All forms/brochures must be approved by GBCC prior to being displayed on the brochure rack.
- Each ministry's administrative assistant is responsible for stocking/maintaining it's information.
- Brochures must be for a GBCC sponsored ministry, support group, or outreach.
- GBCC will stock general information.
- Individual Ministry Brochures: Each major ministry has been supplied with a brochure created to showcase what they are about. Should something change in your ministry, these brochures can be easily updated by contacting the Communication & Connection Director. Brochures will be available in all brochure racks and will be restocked by GBCC staff. Ministries may have additional copies made for their use by contacting the church office.

2. Bulletin
Defined: A one-page printout of the service subject as well as weekly events distributed to service attendees each Saturday and Sunday prior to services.
Guidelines:
- Bulletin information is taken from room reservations and church calendar information. Any events with rooms booked after noon on Wednesday will not be mentioned.
- Bulletins will include details of Special Events Center events well as printed versions of verbal and bulletin announcements.

3. Community Bulletin Board
Defined: A board used to display non-GBCC related events/information. The bulletin board is located in the north hall by the restrooms.
Guidelines:
- Items must be submitted to GBCC for approval before posting.
- Unauthorized items will be removed from the board.

4. Lobby Bulletin Boards
Defined: There are bulletin boards in the lobby and gathering areas that ministries can use to promote upcoming events.
Guidelines:
- Contact the church office to utilize the space.
- May only be used to promote GBCC sanctioned events.
- Church designer will create and post a color poster promoting your event.
- There are no specific timelines on the posting. Posters go up as space is available as long as space is available being cognoscente of the needs of other ministries

5. Captive Audience Ads (CA)
Defined: Ads placed on the inside of restroom stall doors, above urinals and above diaper changing stations which are used to help ministries promote events.
Guidelines:
- Ads may only be used to promote GBCC sanctioned events.
- Ads must be specially designed to fill the entire 8 ½ x 11 inch ad space.
- Smaller ads/brochures/business cards may not be used.
- Use of ads must be scheduled in advance.
- No unauthorized person may place unauthorized ads.
- Ads may be displayed no longer than 3 weeks in advance of an event.
- Should another ministry request the use of the program, GBCC may require ad spaces to be shared.
- Each ministry should design it's own ad. GBCC will help design ads as a backup, as needed.
- Ministries must supply GBCC with ad copy 1 week prior to placement.
- GBCC has the right to refuse an ad that does not meet the GBCC standards.
- Whenever an ad space is not in use by a ministry, GBCC will make creative use of the space.

6. Community Connection
Defined: A monthly newspaper published by GBCC. It contains ministry information and calendars of events, detailed information of events, service opportunities, family news, general information, and contact information.
Guidelines:
- Articles submitted must be related to a GBCC sponsored event.
- The Community Connection is not used to advertise or promote non-GBCC events.
Deadline: Usually at noon the first day of the month prior to the publication. (i.e., January Community Connection information is due Dec. 1.) Some months require an earlier deadline which will be communicated to leaders and staff in advance.

7. Mailing
Defined: A means of distributing information via the U.S. Postal Service.
Guidelines:
- Information can be mailed to individuals who have attended past events and do not attend GBCC.
- Each major ministry may have 1 bulk mailer of their choice per year.

8. Bulletin Announcement
Defined: A small section in the weekly bulletin used for communicating information to the congregation.
Guidelines:
- Submissions should include the following information: title, date, time, contact information (i.e., phone number) - no graphics or logos.
- Submissions may be published in the Weekly Bulletin for a maximum of 3 weeks.
- Submissions do not have to be church-wide events; just church-sponsored events.
- Submissions should be sent to GBCC via a "GBCC Communication Request" form or email.

9. Overhead Announcement
Defined: A communication tool in which events/announcements are briefly displayed on the overhead screen in the gym prior to each service.
Guidelines:
- Basic information is displayed: ministry name, event name, date, location.
- Overhead information is taken from room reservations and church calendar information. (A standard, short overhead is automatically provided when your event is placed on the calendar and you indicate "bulletin" on the Event Form.) Any events with rooms booked after noon on Wednesday will not be mentioned until the following week.

10. Special Events Center
Defined: A vehicle used to communicate special events during the weekend services.
Guidelines:
- The Special Events Center must be manned if it is being used to advertise ministry events.
- Reservation request should be sent to GBCC via email or phone call.
Deadline: noon each Wednesday prior to service.

11. Welcome Center
Defined: A vehicle used to welcome and connect people to GBCC ministries.
Guidelines:
- Not to be used for displaying ministry event information. (See the Special Events Center information for details on how to display event information.)

12. Verbal Announcement
Defined: A communication tool in which events/announcements are announced to the congregation during the weekend services.
Guidelines:
- Must be a specific church initiative.
- A brief mention will be given for events or activities featured at the Special Events Center.
- Submit requests by completing a "GBCC Communication Request Form" or email.
Deadline: noon each Wednesday prior to service.

13. Website
Defined: A GBCC internet homepage used to communicate information such as service times, calendar of events, and prayer requests.
Guidelines:
- Information is updated on a weekly basis.
- Submit add or change requests for ministry pages to GBCC via email.

14. Lobby Display Space
Defined: An open area of the building used to display ministry information. Ex: front lobby
