A small section in the weekly bulletin is used for communicating event-related ministry information.
- Any GBCC ministry may request a bulletin announcement.
- Bulletin announcements will be printed under the "Things to Know" heading in the bulletin.
- Bulletin announcements will be printed for up to three weeks.
- Up to 12 bulletin announcements will be printed each week.
- Bulletin announcements must not exceed 3 lines.
- Each team will be allowed a certain number of bulletin announcements: Attraction Team (2), Business Team (2), Community Life Team (8). If one team has less and another has more, that will be fine as long as the total amount does not exceed 12. If the team announcements exceed the allotted amount, a team point person will be notified and will be asked to pare down the announcements. Team point persons: Attraction Team (Pat Jelen), Business Team (Sue Hurckman), Community Life Team (Joan Johnson). It is the point person's responsibility to notify their ministries when announcements are deleted.
- The Communication & Connection Director will have final authority over bulletin announcements and may edit the announcement.
Ministries will complete a "GBCC Communication Request" form or email the announcement to the main office by the Wednesday noon (12 p.m.) prior to the weekend that the information is to be communicated.
