What is The Garden of Eat’n?
If you or someone you know would like to have your own garden space you might consider The Garden of Eat’n. The Garden of Eat’n – 64 garden plots located on Community’s property – will have (32) 30×30’ plots and (32) 10×15’ plots. Water will be available.
The 30×30’ plots are $20 and the 10×15’ plots are $10 for the season. Garden plots should be ready for planting by May 21 – weather permitting.

What is the purpose of the garden?
Our hope is that through our combined work in a community garden we can help…
• Connect people with nature, work and healthy eating
• Reach out to people who garden but don’t have land
• Diversify the use of Community’s facilities
We’d like the Garden of Eat’n to be fertile ground for mixing it up with non-attenders. We hope to have bonfires and Garden of Eat’n potlucks as the garden season starts.
What are the current needs for the Garden of Eat’n?
We’d like to hear from you if you have a talent or equipment that you are interested in sharing with other gardeners. Currently, we need a couple of volunteers to help measure and stake out the plots around May 14.
The Garden of Eat’n will be used by people that are not attending Community. We expect attenders who garden to take an interest in fellow gardeners, to help keep the garden area tidy and to report any issues immediately.
