Weather Policy
The staff at Community decided that we help to determine a system for canceling church functions in the case of severe weather. We’ve decided that the best way to handle the challenge is to tackle it head on - let the Howard-Suamico School System do it for us!
* If Howard-Suamico schools are closed due to inclement weather, all Community activities will be canceled.
* If Howard-Suamico schools are delayed due to inclement weather, Community activities occurring before 12 p.m. will be canceled.
Closures will be communicated on the home page of the website. Also, Community will program the telephone answering system for after-hours calls. If a closure is not mentioned on our recorded message, ministries will function as usual. If you do not have access to a computer or telephone, you can listen to our friends at Q90FM (90.1 on your radio dial) 6:00-9:00am or 2:00-6:00pm Monday through Friday for additional closure information.
