GBCC reopening features three-phase plan

There will be a three-phase plan for re-opening Green Bay Community Church following the Covid-19 pandemic. Before Phase One begins in early June, Sunday online services will continue to be offered on Facebook Live and the GBCC website via livestream.

Here are details on each phase of our reopening process:

Phase One

This phase will begin on June 7 and will allow for groups of 10 people to meet in our facility. Social distancing (6 feet apart) will be followed, a temperature scan will be taken for anyone entering the GBCC building, and masks should be worn unless a person has an over-riding health concern.

No live Sunday gatherings will take place yet, with services continuing to be broadcast online. No Children's classes will be offered during this time.

Phase Two

Clusters of between 50 and 75 people per room will be allowed to congregate during live services on Sunday morning. An exact date will be determined when this phase will begin.

There will be three separate worship rooms -- the auditorium, the chapel and the training center -- and seats can be reserved through eventbrite.com.

Separate entrances/exits will be used for each of the worship rooms:

  • West lobby doors for the auditorium
  • East lobby doors for the chapel
  • Care Center doors for the training center

Social distancing (6 feet apart) will be followed, a temperature scan will be taken for anyone entering the GBCC building, and  masks should be worn unless a person has an over-riding health concern.

Online broadcasts will continue for those who choose not to attend in person. No Children's classes will be offered during this time.

Phase Three

The GBCC facility will be open to all gatherings, with an exact date to be determined.

Social distancing will be done at each person's discretion and masks and temperature scans will not be required.

Online broadcasts will be an option for those who choose not to attend in person. Children's classes will be offered.
