Green Bay Community Church is looking to fill 1 or 2 positions in the Facilities Department, full-time 40 hours with benefits and some flex time. The mission of this position or positions is to ensure a clean and safe environment by performing various custodial and maintenance tasks with high quality standards and may include supervising part-time staff and/or volunteers. The candidate works in conjunction with the Facilities Coordinator, the Lead Pastor and other staff to accomplish the responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and skills
The ideal candidate will have experience in and a working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and grounds keeping. They will also be knowledgeable in proper methods, materials and equipment used in a variety of building cleaning, sanitizing and preservation work. They must have the physical strength and stamina necessary to perform the required work, such as being able to bend, stoop, kneel, move furniture and work on feet for long periods of time. They must have initiative to recognize unsightly, unsafe or unsanitary conditions wherever they occur and take appropriate action to rectify. The candidate must be able to use a computer for various applications. Candidate should understand that they will be working in a Christian environment.
