Please consider giving a year-end gift

by on November 20, 2017

We are fast approaching the end of the year and we have much to thank God for at Community Church. We saw many people invite Jesus into their lives, others stepped into baptism, while still others deepened their walk with God and cared for many in our city who are in need. We were honored to adopt Crossroads Community as part of our church family. It was an amazing year.

This time of year we focus on a project for our year-end giving that is over and above our regular first fruits (tithe). The Bible calls this a sacrificial gift. King David models this at the end of his life in giving to the building of the temple (1 Chronicles 29:3). We ask that you pray and consider a sacrificial gift toward our year-end fund.

How to give

If you desire to make a year-end financial contribution, first of all, thank you! Next, please make note of the following guidelines and procedures.

To ensure your gift is recognized for a tax deduction in 2017:

  • A mailed contribution must be postmarked in 2017 and mailed to PO Box 10104, Green Bay, WI 54307-0104 (not the 600 Cardinal Lane address).
  • The contribution may be given during any of the remaining 2017 Sunday services, including December 31st.
  • Use our online giving option through December 31st.  Go to www.elexiogiving.com/GBCC.

Non-postmarked gifts received after December 31, 2017 cannot be claimed as a 2017 contribution even though the check was dated 2017. Please note the church office will be closed December 25th through December 30th.

Please be sure a contribution to the Ripple Fund or KidzRipple Fund is referenced on the check to be credited to your account correctly.

If you intend to make a donation of stock, the contribution must occur before December 31, 2017 in order to be claimed as a 2017 contribution.

Please call our Finance Office at 920-434-9225 (LeeAnn LeDuc ext. 3493 or Mark Beasley ext. 3471) to coordinate contributions with our brokerage firms, or for any other contribution-related questions.

We appreciate your support of the ministries at Green Bay Community Church!
