Feed My Starving Children 5K

 Did you know that 6,200 children die every day from hunger related causes?

This is a sad reality and tragedy that is happening EVERY DAY! This is why we run....to help fund the Green Bay MobilePack for Feed My Starving Children. Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The majority of your race registration goes to the food program for our local volunteers to pack the life saving food we call MannaPack Rice. This life saving formula is purchased and hand packed with LOVE by local volunteers and then shipped to mission partners in over 70 countries to feed God’s starving children. At just 24 cents a meal, a race entry fee of $30 is equivalent to 125 manna-pack rice meals!

The Green Bay MobilePack will take place at Green Bay Community Church during the first week of October for the 10th year! Last year we packed an amazing 674,925 meals in just 4 days with 1,734 volunteers! This year we hope to pack over 750,000 meals with more than 2,500 volunteers at a cost of $182,000! Twelve local churches sponsor and plan this event each year with Feed My Starving Children.

The 5K course is set in beautiful Howard, Wisconsin. The course leaves from the Green Bay Community Church parking lot and takes you through neighborhoods and scenic areas in Howard before returning to the church.
