Women's Run for God


Learn the discipline and endurance that it takes to “Run the race set before us” (Hebrews 12:1)

Did you know that running could be an effective way to strengthen one’s faith? 
Do you want to connect with other women while relating exercise to your walk with Christ?

If so, please consider joining us as we embark on the Run for God 5K Challenge that focuses on the parallels between faith and endurance. This gradual 12-week training plan has taken many people who have never run before to a point where they can run a 5K! If you aren’t interested in running but want to walk a 5K, you are welcome to join us as well.

We will meet on the Community Campus on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 during Quarter 3 and Quarter 4. During Quarter 3, we will read and discuss the Run for God book. During Quarter 4 when the weather isn't so cold, we will get outside and work through a modified version of the 12-week 5K training plan. As an end of quarter celebration, we can register to run/walk a 5K together in late May for those who are interested. Cost will be $25 for the Run for God book.
