Prayer is the first step in a person's relationship with God. When you pray you are responding to God by actually talking to Him. The Bible speaks much of prayer, James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." Not only does God hear our prayers but prayer changes the one praying. When you pray you are in the presence of God as you lay before Him your complete self in confession and dependence. There is nothing to hide when we talk with God. Philippians 4.5-7
Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. What are your needs, requests, hopes or fears? Let God know and let the church know. Every week, after our services you are always invited to meet with staff, pastors or elders in the Connection Lounge to pray and let us know how we can continue to pray for you.
Please let your church Family know how they can pray for you.
