Elevation Church to meet in GBCC Chapel

by Green Bay Community Church on January 06, 2023

Elevation Church in Green Bay will begin holding a 10 am worship service in the GBCC Chapel beginning Sunday, March 6.

The lease for Elevation's current building on Oneida Street expired and they will call the GBCC Chapel home until they find a permanent church location.

"For over a year now, Troy Murphy and his team have consistently offered to take us in if we needed a temporary place to worship while in transition," said Elevation Pastor Ryan Kibbe. "After much prayer and conversation, we feel God is leading our church to accept this gracious opportunity from Community Church."

The Elevation congregation has been invited to join us at GBCC during our 10 am service on Sunday, Feb. 26 to worship together for one Sunday in the same space. Then on March 6 Elevation will make the transition into the GBCC Chapel area.

The Elevation Children's Ministry will integrate with GBCC's Children’s Ministry during the 10 am service time beginning Feb. 26 and then ongoing.

Elevation is the second church that will be using our Chapel to hold services. The Come To Jesus Liberty Ministry, an African church that serves the Green Bay area, meets in the GBCC Chapel on Sunday afternoons.

"I believe we've been called to be great stewards of what we have," said Pastor Troy. "Because we are Christ followers we should be extending a hand of help to anyone."

Over the past decade the GBCC facility has been used by two different Spanish churches and Jacob's Well Church.
