GBCC DIGITAL BULLETIN

Green Bay Community Church is a non-denominational group of Christ followers and a transforming community of families that are loving God and others. We are mobilizing people to share the hope of Jesus Christ with all people in the Green Bay area and walk with them as they become a member of the spiritual family, the Church.

John Dickson will be joining us for the next two Sundays to speak on "Losing Well to Win the Kingdom". John is an Australian writer, speaker and academic. Join us at 8am and 10am with continental breakfast at 9am.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

We can't wait to see you for this summer's Vacation Bible School July 24-27. We are going to blast off on the adventure of a lifetime learning all about what it means to shine Jesus' light. VBS gatherings that week will be Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:15 pm.

Register here to guarantee a spot for your child or sign up to volunteer. Early Bird Registration: $15 (through May 31 - then $20 until registration closes on July 1. VBS is for children age 4 (by 7/24) through those entering 4th grade in the fall.

PRAYER & CARE

 PRAYER MINISTRY

  • If you would like to submit a prayer request or consult with a pastor in person, on the phone or via Zoom, email us at
  • Everyone is welcome to attend a prayer meeting on Wednesdays from 11 am to noon in the GBCC Prayer Room next to the Connect Lounge. 
  • We meet in the Prayer Room on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 9:15. Anyone is welcome to join us for prayer.

CAMPFIRE BIBLE STUDY
Come gather with us around the campfire this summer as we talk through the Bible and enjoy community with each other. We will be meeting on Tuesday evenings, beginning May 30, from 6-7:30 pm around the campfire at GBCC. Learn more here.

FIRST FRIDAY WORSHIP
Join us for a night of worship, prayer and seeking God's heart together on Friday, June 2 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This will be an extended time of fellowship and worship in the GBCC Training Center. Everyone is welcome. Childcare will not be available. For more information email Patrick Stiller: 

NEW ALL-STAR LEAGUE OPENING DAY
Whether you cheer for the Navigators or the Lumberjacks, the BayRunners or the Pelicans, or The Freeze or the Muskies, you can't go wrong taking in Opening Day for the N.E.W. ALL-STAR League on Monday, June 5. Games start at 4, 5:30, & 7 p.m. and are played at Resch Miracle Field located at 1680 Libal Street in Allouez. FAMILIES TOGETHER
Our Children's Ministry is excited to offer a new opportunity for families this Summer! Families with kiddos 4th grade and under will come together for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Join us in the Cave on Wednesday nights from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Happening now and running until August!

YOUNG ADULTS
If you are a young adult in the area and love some competition and meeting friends, join us at our next event, kickball! This will take place at Bay Port High School varsity softball field at 6pm on June 13th. There will be snacks, drinks, music, and obviously kickball! FATHER'S DAY OUTDOOR SERVICE 
Sunday, June 18th we celebrate Father's Day! Justin McRoberts joins us for worship and teaching with one service at 9:30am. 

CONNECT AND SERVE 
This is a group of adults looking to connect and build friendships. Meets Wednesday evenings in room 206B with Bible study from 6:30pm-7:30pm and planning for social and serving events from 7:30-8:00. If you can't make it to the Bible study, you are still welcome to join us for our other events! Contact Sarah or Laura for more information.

MEN'S WILD AT HEART RETREAT 
A man needs a deeper understanding of why these longings govern him—and why God made him just like that. And he needs a deeper understanding of why women long to be fought for, to be swept up into adventure, and to be the beauty. and DivorceCare groups gather on Monday evenings at GBCC. You will receive encouragement and support in a safe, confidential, caring atmosphere.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
There are a number of serving opportunities at GBCC on Sundays and throughout the week where you can share your God-given talents within the body of believers. Click on this "I'm In" form where you can review a variety of serving roles. We hope you take advantage of the chance to get more involved in the local church by serving with others.

FOOD PANTRY AVAILABLE
Having trouble providing enough food for your needs? We can arrange for you to use The Giving Tree Food pantry once a month. Please contact either Casey Entringer ( ) or Emily Tippett ( ) to make arrangements.

SUNDAY PARKING
Elevation Church has been holding worship services in the GBCC Chapel on Sunday mornings since the start of March. To make it easier for them on our campus, we ask GBCC attenders to consider parking in the West Lot off Cardinal Lane on Sunday mornings.

VETERANS GROUP
A new group is forming to create a faith-based fellowship program run by veterans for veterans providing an environment that feels safe and allows participants to verbalize their traumatic experiences to people who know, love and accept them unconditionally. TOGETHER GREEN BAY
Together Green Bay is a call to everyone that influences others to make our city better through leadership and community development. We work to grow leadership in every public and private sector and we work to engage people and organizations in our community to end poverty. Go here for more information.

CANCER SUPPORT GROUP (VIRTUAL)
The Cancer Support Group is committed to creating a safe, confidential place for men and women to share their experience, strength and hope with each other. As a group we will address the physical, emotional, relational and spiritual challenges that cancer brings. Meetings occur the first and third Mondays of the month. PASTOR KIM'S BIBLE STUDY
Join former GBCC Pastor Kim Sechler for a Wednesday morning bible study via Zoom from 8 to 8:45 am. Go here to get the Zoom log-in information. 

THE GIVING TREE FOOD PANTRY
The Giving Tree Food pantry has four drop off sites for food donations and they are the Village of Suamico Offices, design ala mode, Papa Murphy's on Lineville Road and Green Bay Community Church. If you have a large donation, please contact The Giving Tree at 920-593-3484, they are usually available for drop off Mon-Thurs 9 am to 12pm.
Please do not drop off perishable food donations. The Giving Tree cannot use meat, cheese or bread that has been dropped off at our drop sites. If you have perishable food items to donate please call and schedule a time to drop off. Thank you for your support and cooperation!
