Our opportunity

Financial Peace University is a nine-week class that is offered multiple times a year at GBCC and teaches basic financial and budgeting skills. About 300 different households have participated in the class, with more than half a million dollars in debt paid off in the past three years. Hundreds of credit card accounts have been closed and class participants have been inspired to save tens of thousands of dollars and give more to charity.

Our direction

Matthew 6:24 — No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Our value

Financial Peace University is a Bible-based accountability class that teaches people to manage their resources in a Godly manner. God has given us more than 800 scriptures showing us how to handle money His way. The class helps people achieve financial goals by showing them how to eliminate debt, save for the future and give like never before. The Ripple Initiative will enable us to expand our class offerings going forward, including a curriculum geared for children.

May the monetary offerings we receive be used to glorify your name by how we minister to others and proclaim the love of Jesus in our community and around the world.
