Our opportunity

A total of 265 people attended the Global Leadership summit in August 2014 at Community Church, which served as one of 300 satellite sites around the country for the annual event that is broadcast from Willow Creek Church in Illinois.

Our value

Leadership takes perseverance, dedication and a commitment to stretch your mind, expand your heart and use your God-given gifts to impact your world in real and powerful ways. Every year Community Church offers the chance for Green Bay area residents to gather with thousands of leaders across the country for GLS, which is designed to stretch and challenge attendees with world class speakers, interactive dialogue and practical training. The event will be held Aug. 6-7 this year. The Ripple Initiative will provide GBCC with more space to host more people at special events such as GLS.

Our prayer

God, please raise up leaders at Community Church and in the Green Bay area who are humble servants and have hearts for You. May they seek to grow in their faith and wisdom through events such as the Global Leadership Summit. May your Spirit work through the planners of this year’s GLS so the name of Jesus would be clearly evident and lifted up.
