Our opportunity

A total of 298 people attended Leadership Launch in February, a day set aside twice a year to inform, train and connect regular attenders to play a part at Community Church. It’s an opportunity for existing leaders as well as those who desire to be “all in” to gather around the cause of Jesus Christ.

Our direction

Acts 2: 42-44 — And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common.

Our value

We believe gathering key Community Church leaders together twice a year is important. Vision is a picture of the future that creates passion in people. This is a time set aside for attenders to actively declare their commitment to being an owner at GBCC, to be reminded of our vision, to realign with our strategy, to reconnect with the community of believers, and to be re-inspired to be "all in.” It is a special time for those who want to go deeper to join together and align with where God is calling our church. The Ripple Initiative will allow us more space for developing leaders.

Our prayer

Lord, thank you for our opportunity twice a year to formally gather as leaders of Community Church  Thank you that each time we gather, you bring forward more potential leaders. We lift up the time to you and ask that you stir in us a passion for your plan in this church and in our lives. Please continue to call leaders to step up in their faith and in ministry; and may this bring you glory.
