Our opportunity

Origins is a seven-week group experience which gives the full spectrum of who Community church is and what we believe. To date, we have had 12 Origin groups representing 168 people who have worked through the curriculum and started to live out the core values of their faith on and outside of the campus at GBCC.

Our direction

2 Timothy 3:16 — All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. (New Living Translation)

Our value

It is our hope that the Origins class challenges and encourages attenders to examine their personal walk with Jesus and connection in the life of the church. Various faith topics are discussed in a small-group setting. Daily Bible readings and a serve opportunity help participants live out their faith. 

Our prayer

God, we pray that as the Ripple Initiative expands this church’s reach, more attenders would develop an intimate walk with you, beginning with a knowledge of your word. May the Origins classes we offer spark Christ followers to deepen their faith, and may strong, long-lasting relationships develop among the participants. May these classes spur us to love you and others every day.
