Marcia directs the nursery programming for weekend services, Wednesday nights, Moms Together and women’s bible studies. She has a deep love for children and works to create an environment where kids are introduced to their loving heavenly Father. 

"I love hearing from parents about how we are impacting their children and families," Marcia said. "Even the little toddlers are learning about God’s great love for them and those faith foundations are being built."

Marcia went to West De Pere High School, attended college at UW - La Crosse and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in psychology with a concentration on child development.

Marcia committed her life to Christ at the age of nine and has been attending GBCC since 1995. In 2000 she joined the church staff part-time, then went full-time as the Preschool Director in 2006.

She has two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kenna, and a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Krista. 

Marcia loves theater, music, reading, traveling, healthy cooking and enjoying God's creation. She serves as a volunteer guardian for a woman with special needs and is a property manager for family duplex rentals in the area.

Marcia's bucket list includes spending time in Israel and going on a mission trip where she can share the love of Jesus with children in an orphanage.
