Christine promotes the use of Community Church’s facilities and handles the logistics of events that take place at GBCC.
She grew up in Oconto Falls, studied retail management at NWTC while working at DuBois Bridal. She then transitioned into the transportation industry and worked as a logistics technician, systems specialist, and business design analyst at Schneider in Green Bay.
Christine chose to follow Christ at age 4 and grew up attending church. After high school she drifted in her faith but received what she calls "a wakeup call" when she was involved in a serious car accident but wasn’t injured. That prompted her to begin pursuing a relationship with God again. She started attending GBCC soon after that in 2000.
Christine is married to Chris and they have two adopted daughters, Allona and Maria. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Christine’s bucket list items include a trip to the Swiss Alps where “The Sound of Music” was filmed, a Haiti mission trip and a journey to Russia and Bulgaria, where her children were born.
A life lesson Christine has learned through the adoption of her daughters is to trust in God’s plan. “God knows what he is doing,” she said. “The whole adoption process was amazing. It really taught us that He knows the big picture and we need to trust him.”
