Sydney has a multi-faceted role working and doing life with young adults as well as performing communications and social media tasks.

Her greatest satisfaction is seeing young adults grow and be a part of a community.

Sydney was raised in Suamico, attended Bay Port and received a full-ride softball scholarship to play at St. Cloud State and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Sydney chose to follow Christ during COVID when she started working at Dirt Juicery, whose owner would later become her mother-in-law.

Sydney got baptized in 2021, married "the one and only" Garrett in 2022 and joined the GBCC staff in 2023. Sydney and Garrett have a golden retriever named Wrigley after the famous ballpark.

In her spare time Sydney likes to work out, spend time with friends and family, take Wrigley for walks and puppy dates, travel and be outdoors. On the top of Sydney's bucket list is a trip to Italy.

Sydney said she has learned that "who you do life with is so important. Always listen to God’s calling and when He is calling you to do something, do it even if it’s scary or not what you want."
