God loves feasts and celebrations. In the Old Testament, God established feasts to teach and remind the people of Israel of His mighty ways and wondrous works.
Today, in the craziness of things, we may forget to celebrate Christ in our lives. Most of us are no different than the Israelites; we are quick to forget the mighty ways God has moved in our lives and in the past. In these moments, we could use the encouragement and support from those in our faith community. Come to together on May 26 from 6:30-8pm with the families of GBCC to celebrate and remember the ways God has blessed and cared for us this year! We will have a time of live worship, a time of naming the ways God has shown up in the past year around the campfire, outdoor games and wild fun! We will have free popcorn and drinks. Monkey Tailz ice cream food truck will also be on site for purchase!
Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Sharing our stories of faith will encourage others to remember their faith in God. Similar to how telling a funny story will trigger a person to laugh, telling a story of God in your life will trigger a person to remember her faith. Join us!
